To resolve this issue try restarting your PC. If this does not work try these other solutions.
-If you are runnning on Windows NT or Windows 2000, Make sure you have Administrative permission.
-Make sure Ikernal.exe is not in memory. If it is (and you are not running any type of setup) end the task.
-Clean your Temporary Directory.
-Close AOL Instant Messenger.
-Try to reinstall Internet Explorer 5.x . This will repair corrupted (and or) Missing windows files.
-Try reinstalling the NT service pack.
